Wesley Crawford of Covington, passed away August 14, 2011, at Rockdale Medical Center.  He was 40 years old at the time of his death.  Mr. Crawford was a resident of Rockdale and Newton Counties for 35 years and was a former employee of Penta Engineering where he was a commercial roofing inspector.  He enjoyed playing the guitar and was an avid Harley Davidson enthusiast, spending as much time as possible on the road.  Mr. Crawford had a very creative mind and enjoyed making metal artwork.

Mr. Crawford is survived by his mother, Sharon Hanson of Covington, father and step mother, Edwin Frank and LaVerne Crawford, also of Covington; sisters and brothers-in-law, Sabrina L. and Kenneth W. Johnson of Monticello, Tara and Jason Baylard of Cumming; aunts and uncles, Yvonne and Stan Burgess of Renton, WA, James Michael Landers of Conyers, Deborah Landers of Covington, Madeline Waller of Newnan, Patricia Bowers of Griffin, as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A Memorial Service for Mr. Crawford will be held at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, August 20, 2011, at the Access Road Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home, Saturday, August 20, from 12:30 – 1:30 P.M.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Scottish Rite Children’s Hospital, 1687 Tullie Circle, Atlanta, GA  30329-2316.
