Thomas Jack Burroughs of Oxford, GA died Monday, November 29, 2010 at Newton Medical Center.  He was born on July 16, 1931 in Carnesville, GA to Grady and Cleo Shirley Burroughs. He loved people and enjoyed doing for others.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing and cooking for family and friends. He loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them.

Mr. Burroughs is survived by his wife: Doris Burroughs of Oxford, GA; daughter and son-in-law: Patricia and Freddie Neely; daughter: Deborah Burroughs both of Covington,GA; son: Daniel Burroughs of Covington, GA; son and daughter-in-law: Mark and Donna Burroughs of Social Circle, GA; grandchildren: Clint Neely, Crystal Hutcheson, Michael Burroughs, Misty Burroughs; 4 great grandchildren; sisters: Barbara Griffin and Shirley Sue Forrester.  He is preceded in death by his father: Grady Burroughs and his mother: Cleo Burroughs.
