Mr. Thomas Busbee

Thomas Busbee, age 85 of Mansfield, passed away July 22, 2014. Mr. Busbee was a veteran of the United States Army. He attended Eastridge Community Church, was an avid Atlanta Braves fan and enjoyed fishing. Mr. Busbee was a wonderful husband and a good father, grandfather, great-grandfather and great-great-grandfather. He was preceded in death by his parents, Norman James and Carrie Louberta (Middlebrook) Busbee.

Survivors include his loving wife of 61 years, Mable Busbee; children and their spouses, Dean and Connie Busbee of Mansfield, Debra and Bob Weaver of Covington, Denise and Billy Christian of Clarkesville, Tennessee, Mike and Pam Busbee of Monticello, Crystal and Wayne Cedotal of Aiken, South Carolina; 14 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; sister and brother-in-law, Hazel and Billy Stanley of Covington; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services for Mr. Busbee were held Thursday, July 24, 2014, 3 p.m., at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, with Dr. Randy Reese officiating. Interment followed in Lawnwood Memorial Park.
