Mr. Jerome Carr was born November 16, 1957 in Social Circle to the late Mr. & Mrs. Herman (Leila Mae) Carr, Jr.
He attended school in Social Circle, Walton County, Georgia. Jerome was employed by Lafarge Rock Quarry as a truck driver. He loved spending time with his family and friends, cookouts, drag racing and shopping — which enabled him to be the classy and sharp dresser he was — just to name a few.

He leaves, to cherish his memories, daughter, Ms. Shareka Carr, of Athens, son, Mr. & Mrs. Cedric Carr (Zeppe) of South Carolina, step-children, Mr. & Mrs. James (Tonya) Jackson and Mr. Quenton England, grandchildren, Breylen Alias Ayers, Zalair Knowles and Jasiah Brabham, step-grandchildren, Jakia Jackson, Jaden Jackson, Isreal England and Elijah England, sisters, Mr. & Mrs. Bruce (Mabel) Johnson, of College Park, Georgia, Mr. & Mrs. Jacques (Geraldine) Ricks, of Ellenwood, and Mr. & Mrs. Billy (Debra Jean) Robinson, of Covington, devoted uncle, Mr. Rogers Carr, of Social Circle, loving and devoted friends, Ms. Teresa Price, of Covington, Rev. & Mrs. George (Jackie) Gibbs and family, and a host of other relatives and friends.

The funeral for Jerome Carr will be Wednesday, June 11 at 4:30 p.m. in the Lester Lackey & Sons Chapel at 1163 Reynolds Street in Covington, with Rev. George Gibbs as the Eulogist.
