Mildred Louise Dudding of Covington, GA died Friday, September 17, 2010 at Abbey Hospice. She was born on May 26, 1935 in Bulls Gap, TN to William Vandis and Lillie Mae Rednawoner Hayes. She loved to go to yard sales and to garden. She was a loving mother, wife, grandmother and great grandmother. Mrs. Dudding is survived by daughter: Barbara Bowen of Covington, GA; daughter and son-in-law: Robin and Charles Akins of Covington, GA, sons: William Dan Bowen of Covington, GA and Woodson Boyd Bowen of Macon, GA; daughters and sons-in-law: Shirley and Michael Florence, Marty and Pete Akins, Linda and Sammy Kirkpatrick all of Covington, GA; 11 granchildren and 10 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her mother and father: Lillie Mae Hayes and William Vandis Hayes; sisters: Dorothy Bailey, Shirley Irwin and brother: W.C. Hayes.
Services will be held at 10:00AM on Monday, September 20, 2010 in the Chapel of Wheeler Funeral Home with Matt Alexander officiating. Interment will be in Lawnwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, September 19, 2010 from 6:00-8:00 PM.
