Maxine Kendrick, 77, of Decatur died May 5 of Cancer at Social Circle Rehabilitation Center. She was a member of Decatur First United Methodist Church.
Surviving are daughters Marynell Ford of Covington, Marie Minter of Winston Salem, N.C., Charlotte Giffin of N. Augusta, S.C.; son Jerry Kendrick of Rocky Mount, Va.; sister Gladys Ray of Onley, Ill.; 10 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren.
A memorial will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, May 7, at Decatur First United Methodist Church. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the American Breast Cancer Society.
