Mrs. Mary Bradford-Blanco, 72, of Oxford, passed away Aug. 20. She loved to cook, enjoyed crafts and shopping. Mrs. Blanco was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend to many. She was preceded in death by her husband Ronald Blanco; and her parents Henry R. and Edith Arizona (Holbrook) Howell.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law Angela and Randy Summerford of Covington; sons and daughter-in-law Brad and Judy Bradford, Steve Bradford, all of Social Circle; grandchildren Sandy Howard, Holly Knapp, Clay Pierce, Zack Bradford, Matthew Bradford, Abby Bradford; great-grandchildren Melissa Howard, Matthew Howard, Karli Buckelew, Alyssa Pierce, Corbin Buckelew, Ethan Pierce, Gehrig Knapp, Gibson Knapp; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Mrs. Blanco will be held today, Aug. 22, 4:30 p.m. at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, with interment following in Covington Mill Cemetery.
