Louise Fraser Cook, age 96, passed away on June 15, 2016. Louise was born in and grew up in Atlanta, GA. She attended North Avenue Presbyterian School and Brenau Academy. She is preceded in death by her parents Benjamin Franklin Fraser, Jr. and Louise Taylor Fraser, brothers Benjamin Franklin Fraser III and Robert Morris Fraser, sister Josephine Fraser Ross; and her beloved husband of 63 years, William Sidney Cook, Jr. DDS, with whom she moved to his home town Covington, GA. In 2001 she moved to Lanier Village Estates in Gainesville, GA. She is survived by son William Sidney Cook III and his wife Deborah Staton Cook of Centennial, CO, daughter Lauree Cook Graffius of Gainesville, GA, grandsons Gene Evans, Dr. Randy Evans, Dr. Bill Cook, Scott Cook, Dr. Ted Cook, 11 great-grandchildren, and God-child Arlinda Haymon Porter. Throughout her life she was loving, giving and caring of others. The memorial service will be held at the 1st United Methodist Church in Covington, GA on June 25 at 11:00 am with visitation at the church from 10:00 to 10:45 am. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Georgia Mental Health Association, or the 1st United Methodist Church of Covington, or the 1st United Methodist Church of Gainesville. J.C.
