Jimmy E. Barnett of Covington, died July 1, 2009, at the age 42. Mr. Barnett loved animals, and especially loved his family. He was preceded in death by his parents, James Marvin Sr., and Dorothy Talbert Barnett; and brother, James M. Barnett, Jr. Survivors include his wife, Lynda Barnett; daughters, Carol Barnett, Christy Barnett, both of Oxford; son, Christopher JE Barnett of Social Circle; grandson, Christopher Barnett, Jr.; step children, Richard and Christy Hanright, Jr., Da'Marcus and Michelle Norwood; step grandchildren, Kelsie Hanright, Kristine Hanright, Logan Hanright, Austin Norwood, Deseray Norwood, LaShawnna Norwood; preceded in death by step grandchild, Preston Hanright; sisters and brothers-in-law, Margaret and Roy Cartledge of Covington, Teresa and Eddie Johnson of Oxford, Annie and Bill Daniel of Conyers; brothers and sisters-in-law, Jackie and Julie Donaldson of Oxford, Michael and Angela Donaldson of Conyers, Freddie Barnett of Covington, Tommy and Sandy Barnett of Eatonton. Funeral Services for Mr. Barnett will be held Monday, July 6, 2009, 2 PM, at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan, 1215 Access Rd., with Rev. Kenneth Morrell and Rev. Jesse Hudson officiating, and interment following in Lawnwood Memorial Park.
