Mrs. Imogene Herron Graham, 78, of Toccoa, died Dec. 8 at Cottingham Hospice House, Seneca, S.C. The daughter of the late N.R. and Faye Smith Herron, she was born in 1930 in Franklin County. She grew up and lived most of her life on Rose Lane in Toccoa, being a great neighbor with a terrific sense of humor. She loved to play games with her family and friends. Mrs. Graham was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church and a licensed beautician. She graduated from North Georgia Trade School and worked with her aunt and close friend, Claudine Collier, at Claudine's Beauty Shop for over three decades. Mrs. Graham was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother and was affectionately known as "Nannie" to her grandchildren with whom she loved to spend quality time. She was a devoted care giver for several family members and friends and was also a volunteer for Meals On Wheels. She had a large circle of friends and stayed connected to them even when her own health declined.

Family members include her husband of 55 years Harold Graham of the home; sons and daughters-in-law Terry and Margie Graham of Lakemont, the Rev. Tim and Deana Graham of Covington; grandsons Robert Graham and his wife Bethany of Ft. Knox, Ky., Harry Graham of Covington; three granddaughters Jenny Graham of Lakemont, Molly Graham and Emma Graham both of Covington; great-granddaughter Jordan Graham of Ft. Knox, Ky.; sister and brother-in-law Gwen Herron Burgess and Joe of McDonough; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by brother Kenneth Herron.

Funeral services were held Dec. 11 from the Chapel of Whitlock Mortuary with Dr. Roddy Turner and Pastor Andy Childs officiating. Interment followed in Stephens Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Cottingham Hospice House, 390 Keowee School Road, Seneca, S.C. 29672.
