Hubert Ray Pye, 61 of Loganville, passed away Monday, July 25, 2016. He was a loving husband, brother and uncle. Ray enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping. He was an avid outdoorsman who also enjoyed gardening. 

He was born in Atlanta, Georgia to the late J. B. and Lula Milan Pye. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife Mary Jenkins Pye; brother James Pye; and sister Amogene Pickens.

Ray is survived by his sisters and brother-in-law Jane Ricks, Josephine Walker, Faye Chandler, Lillian and William Holmes and Ola Hawes; brothers and sisters-in-law Roy and Delorise Pye and Danny and Linda Pye; along with many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held July 28, 2016 in the chapel of Wheeler Funeral Home at 3 p.m. with Rev. John Croma officiating. Interment followed at Calvary Baptist Church Cemetery. The family received friends one hour prior to the service.
