Greg Christian, age 54, died December 25, 2010, at his home in Covington.  Self-employed in the grading and hauling business, he had worked as a heavy equipment operator for thirty-five years.  Mr. Christian enjoyed working with mechanics, loved sports, especially Auburn football, and was a person who never met a stranger.  A loving son, brother, uncle and friend, he was preceded in death by his father, Frank Edward Christian. 

Surviving are his mother, Betty Sue Christian; sister, Ellen Christian Helms, both of Covington; brothers, Tim Christian of Atlanta, Wallace Christian of Ellaville; nieces, Elizabeth Christian Allen, Dawn Helms Dalton, both of Covington, Kendall Christian Stowell of Atlanta; nephews, Frank Lamar Christian of Carrollton, Jerry Helms of Oxford.

Funeral Services for Mr. Christian will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, December 28, 2010, at the Access Road Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, with interment following in Lawnwood Memorial Park, Covington.
