Mr. Frank A. McCrackin of Covington died November 10, 2011 at Rockdale Medical Center at the age of 86.  He was born to the late Arthur C. and Georgia Ann Dunn McCrackin in Telfair County, GA, was a veteran of the U.S. Army, and was employed by Williams Brothers Lumber Co. for 35 years. He enjoyed hunting, gardening and mowing the yard at church. A cowboy at heart, he enjoyed westerns and horseback riding.  Frank was a huge GA Bulldog fan, and loved spending time with his family. He is preceded in death by his son-in-law, Jimmy Knight.

Frank is survived by his loving wife, Geri Brantley McCrackin; daughter and son-in-law, June Knight and Curtis Smith of Mansfield; son and daughter-in-law, David and Judy McCrackin of Covington; grandchildren, David and Rhonda Knight, Traci and Edgar Ramey, Jason and Wendy McCrackin; great-grandchildren, Justin Autry, Jaron Autry, Dawson Knight, Logan Knight, Abby Reese McCrackin; sister, Pearl Evans of Florida.

Funeral Services for Frank will be held Sunday, November 13, 2011, 2:00 P.M. at the Access Road Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, with Rev. Richard Culpepper, Rev. Gene Crawford and Pastor Robbie Norman officiating with interment following in Lawnwood Memorial Park.  The family will receive friends at Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road on Saturday, November 12, 2011, from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M.
