Esther Brady, 83, of Monroe, died on Nov. 23. The daughter of the late Willie Allen and Lillie Mae Cleghorn Allen, she was born in 1927. She was preceded in death by her husbands Joe C. Parkes and Henry Ford Brady.

Surviving are daughter and son-in-law Suzette and Dennis Brasel of Cumming; sons and daughters-in-law Wayne and Dot Brady of Monroe, Danny and Donna Parkes of Covington; seven grandchildren; eight great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Nov. 27 at the chapel of Meadows Funeral Home with the Rev. Wayne Durden officiating. Interment followed at Porterdale Baptist Cemetery in Porterdale.
