Carolyn Fletcher Harris, 72, of Covington, died May 18 at Newton Medical Center. The daughter of the late Grady Franklin Fletcher and Grace Irene Camp Fletcher, she was born in Atlanta and lived in Atlanta and then Morrow for a number of years before moving to Covington in 1992. She was a member of Monticello Presbyterian Church and a member and past president of the Lakewood Jaycettes and worked tirelessly for the Georgia Amateur Boxing Association for many years as their ticket salesperson. Once she moved to Covington, she was active in the Turtle Cove Ladies Golf Association and Women's Club. She was a proud member of the Grandparents Club at Piedmont Academy. Before retirement, Carolyn owned and operated the Harris Title Service as a consultant.

She is survived by her husband Donald Edward Harris of Covington; children and sons-in-law Donalyn and Mac Vaughn of Locust Grove, Missy and Joey Dunagan of Monticello, and Mark Harris of Covington; grandchildren J.C. Dunagan, Jakey Dunagan, Hannah Vaughn, Damon Vaughn, Polly Vaughn, Lauren Harris, and Jordan Harris; and sisters and brothers Barbara Haller and Buddy Fletcher, both of Monticello, and Fred Fletcher of Decatur, Frank Fletcher and Shirley Roney, both of Cumming.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, May 22, at the Conley Cove Sunday School on Conley Ditch Road in Monticello. Deacon Fred Fletcher and the Rev. Rindy Trouteaud will officiate. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday, May 21, at Jordan Funeral Home in Monticello. The family suggests donations to the Monticello Presbyterian Church, c/o Music Fund, P.O.
