Brenda Fay Yarbrough, of Covington, died April 9, 2009, at the age of 66. Daughter of the late Joe and Susie Mae Milligan Ballard, she was a member of Jersey Baptist Church and enjoyed gardening, sewing, reading, watching NCIS on television and loved her cats. Mrs. Yarbrough was preceded in death by her husband, James Adam Yarbrough. Survivors include daughter, Bonnie Lambert of Covington; sons, Billy Yarbrough of Covington, Donnie Yarbrough of Friendship, NY; grandchildren, Desiree’ Griffith, Bobby Griffith, David Lambert, Candie Yarbrough, April Yarbrough, Dejay Yarbrough, Dustin Yarbrough, Joleigh Brewer, Christian Brewer, Tanner Brewer; five great-grandchildren; sister, Veronica Ballard of Covington; brother and sister-in-law, Aubrey Joe and Patricia Ballard of Eatonton; several nieces and nephews. A graveside service for Mrs. Yarbrough will be held on Monday, April 13, 2:00 PM, at Jersey Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, on Sunday, April 12, from 5-9 PM.
