LILBURN, Ga.- Police say no one was seriously injured when one Gwinnett County school bus rear-ended another.

Gwinnett County police Cpl. Edwin Ritter says a bus carrying 38 students and bound for Lilburn Middle School rear-ended a parked special needs bus carrying two students and a monitor. He says the driver of the bus that was unable to stop was taken to Gwinnett Medical Center for treatment of minor injuries and was also cited for following too close.

Ritter says 10 of the 38 children on that bus complained of back pain and were treated on scene by the Gwinnett Fire Department.

He says the driver and monitor on the special needs bus complained of injury but refused to be taken to the hospital. The two special needs students were not injured.
