The second of a series of walks in April sponsored by Newton Trails will feature comments by Covington Mayor, Ronnie Johnston and Covington Chief of Police Stacy Cotton. It will be held Wednesday, April 13, beginning at 6 p.m. at the Eastside trailhead adjacent to the Newton County Library at Chimney Park.

"What better way to build community than by providing a way for citizens to take a walk together," said Johnston.
Cotton plans to talk about trail safety.
