The Gala is the Hospital Auxiliary's signature fund-raising event of the year, raising thousands of dollars over the years for the purchase of medical equipment. This year, the Auxiliary will raise money for the new neonatal intensive care unit. Tickets are $90 per person.

Guests can expect grand dining, dancing to live music, and a live and silent auction.

"We have some really wonderful items for auction including a trip to Colorado," said Auxiliary Board Member and Gala Chairman Val Hampton. "We also have smaller items like the Odyssey Putter for the avid golfer or the spa package for that lady who likes to be pampered."

"Beginning with the Gala project, money raised will now go towards the purchase of medical equipment for the brand new neonatal intensive care unit," said Auxiliary President Michelle Green. The Auxiliary recently
presented a check for $500,000 to the Hospital Board of Directors for the purchase of Digital Mammography equipment in The Women's Diagnostic Center.
