Beautiful Bulldogs: George Walton Academy Senior Eleanor "Ellie" Ginn of Covington was crowned the 2009-2010 Homecoming Queen on Sept. 25 during the Bulldogs’ game against John Milledge Academy. Ginn was escorted by her father, Marshall Ginn, and presented flowers by Headmaster William Nicholson. In celebration of George Walton Academy’s 40th Anniversary, the Academy’s very first Homecoming Queen Pam Briscoe Peters assisted with the festivities. Ginn was crowned by University of Georgia freshman and 2008 Homecoming Queen Haley Hodges of Conyers. The court (left) includes Lindsey White, left, (9th grade, Monroe), Alexi Adams (10th grade, Monroe), Lucy Jordan (11th grade, Monroe), Ellie Ginn (12th grade, Covington), Lizzie Kennedy (12th grade, Snellville), Blake Bishop (12th grade, Lithonia), Jessie Stephens (12th grade, Loganville), Clair Moulder (12th grade, Social Circle), Katie Bender (11th grade, Snellville), Hannah McSwain (10th grade, Monroe), and Brooke Moon (9th grade, Loganville).
