The Hunt Gallery at Oxford College of Emory University currently has an exhibition on display featuring a selection of paintings and drawings by Art Rosenbaum and documentary photographs by Margo Newmark Rosenbaum.

University of Georgia Professor Emeritus Art Rosenbaum taught studio art at UGA for 30 years and was UGA’s first Wheatley Professor in Fine Arts. His work was presented in 2009 in a major retrospective, "Weaving His Art on Golden Looms," at the Georgia Museum of Art.

Many of the works in the Oxford exhibit depict and respond to the Southern musical traditions the Rosenbaums have documented over the years including rural blues. Some of the images depict the Bryant family of Covington and Oxford, who continue a multi-generational rural blues tradition through the present day.

The exhibition will be open until Feb. 25.
