Six students from Piedmont Academy participated in the Georgia National Fair art contest recently. The artworks ranged from watercolor and photography to jewelry and 3-D sculpture. There were hundreds of entries in the art contest and Piedmont brought several ribbons home. Lena Boyd placed first, second and honorable mention with her copper enamel pieces. Marissa Mooneyham placed second with her altered photograph. Alina Jablonski placed first with a paper mache frog that she created.
Piedmont Academy students win Georgia National Fair art contest
