Residents in District 1 will have the opportunity to attend a forum with school board representative Jeff Meadors Oct. 5.

This is the second forum Meadors has hosted for his district, which includes Alcovy High School and Heard Mixon, Rocky Plains and Mansfield Elementary schools. Meadors will answer questions from attendants regarding the school system.

According to Meadors these forums will "prevent me from being tone deaf to the ideas of the public."
The forum will be held Oct. 5 at 3:30 p.m. - right after bus call - in the auditorium of Alcovy High School. For more information, contact Meadors at jeffrey.meadors@gmail.com.
