A parent workshop on the gift of encouragement will be held 6-7:30 p.m. Thursday at Clements Middle School.

Parents will learn about attention-seeking behaviors, power control issues, revenge- seeking behaviors and avoidance-of-failure behaviors. The workshop will be led by Rebecca Bates, a counselor at Ficquett Elementary.
