COVINGTON, Ga. – Four students were arrested on disorderly conduct charges Monday after a fight at Alcovy High School.

According to a Newton County Sheriff’s Office incident report, a school resource officer responded to the school’s cafeteria just before 11:30 a.m. on a report of a fight among adult female students and one juvenile female student. The disturbance reportedly ended after the arrests were made.

An NCSO spokesperson said there were no reported injuries from the incident. The students' names were not included in the report.

"Fighting will not be tolerated on campus," Newton County Schools’ spokesperson Sherri Davis said in a statement to The Covington News. "The students involved have been disciplined for violating the student code of conduct.”
