It will be an afternoon of music and dance — The annual Yellow River Jam is returning to Porterdale on Saturday.

Five bands will perform throughout the day. Larry and Anita Denny will perform from Noon to 2 p.m., Donnie Long singing oldies from 2-3 p.m., True Gospel Church Band performs from 3-4 p.m., Apostles of Bluegrass plays from 4-6 p.m. and Jordan Rager will sing country from 6-8 p.m.

Food, as well as many varieties of arts and crafts will be for sale at the event. There will also be pony rides, a space walk, face painting and clowns to entertain children.
