The Covington Police Department is working to help prevent prescription drug abuse by collecting expired, unused or unwanted prescriptions on Saturday at the police department, 1143 Oak St.

Prescriptions that are unused or expired can be dropped off at the police department so they can be properly disposed of by law enforcement officers.
