The Covington City Council passed four measures at its Dec. 15 meeting that will see Amazon Data Services, a subsidiary of the tech giant Amazon, pay amounts in the nine-figure range to the City of Covington. These payments directly relate to the projected water usage of an incoming large-scale Amazon data center off of Alcovy Road.
