It’s almost March Madness time, and The Covington News is celebrating the biggest basketball event of the year by bringing back our March Madness Ultimate Gift Package! 

To enter, simply pay for a 6-month or 12-month subscription, or you can pay to renew your existing 6-month or 12-month subsection to The Covington News anytime during the month of March, and you’ll be eligible for this year’s March Madness giveaway! 

It’s raffle style, which means your six or 12-month subscription purchase acts as raffle tickets. If you purchase or renew a 6-month subscription, you’ll have six “entries” into the drawing. Purchase a 12-month subscription, you’ll have 12 entries. 

Paid subscriptions must be received by 5 p.m. Monday March 27, 2023 to qualify. You must be 18 years or older to enter, and you must be a resident of Newton County or reside within the newspaper’s coverage area. 

Employees of The Covington News and relatives of employees are ineligible to win. 

The drawing for the March Madness Ultimate Gift Package will be held Wednesday March 29, 2023. The winner will be announced online at covnews.com on Friday March 31, as well as in that weekend’s printed edition of The Covington News.
