Stanley and Teresa Thompson of Social Circle announce the engagement of their daughter Holly Lynn Thompson to Mark Vaeth, son of Marie Farmer of Covington and Marty Vaeth of Alabama.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late J.L. and Willie Mae Berryman, Patricia Thompson of Athens and the late C.W. Thompson. She is a graduate of Eastside High School and is employed by the Covington Police Department.

The future groom is the grandson of Sam and Louise Singley of Covington, Martin and Beverly Vaeth of Loganville and Bruce Fry of Covington. He attended Eastside High School and is employed by Morgan Container Inc.

The wedding will be held May 30 at Charlie Elliott Conference Center, Mansfield.
