Mr. and Mrs. David L. Anglin of Newborn are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Autumn Danielle to Charles Byron Rafford Jr., son of Timothy J. and Catherine Cain of Birmingham, Ala., and Charles B. and Deidre Rafford of Helena, Ala. The couple will marry Nov. 21 at the Covington First United Methodist Church.

Autumn is the granddaughter of Ms. Chloe K. Robertson of Covington and the late Albert L. Lemonds, and David and Cheryl Gilmore of Covington and Howard and Brenda Savage of Dallas, Texas.

Byron is the grandson of Mrs. Ruby M. Palmer of Birmingham, Ala., and the late Honorable George David Palmer III and Charles Edgar and Lois Rafford of Sussex, N.J.

The bride-elect graduated from Eastside High School in 2005 and from Georgia Southern University in 2008 where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing, and currently works as a labor and delivery nurse at Jordan Valley Medical Center in West Jordan, Utah.

The future groom graduated from Pelham High School in 1999, from Young Harris College in 2003, and from Georgia Southern University in 2007 and 2008 where he received an associate’s degree in education (YHC), bachelor’s degrees in business administration and education (GSU), and a master’s degree in public administration (GSU). He is a purchasing and supply chain manager for the Department of Defense at Hill AFB, Utah.

The couple resides in Salt Lake City, Utah. They would like to thank their parents, family, and friends for all their love, support, and encouragement, and, as always, "Go Eagles and Roll Tide!"
