While the top-five teams in the Associated Press Georgia High School Class AAAAAA football poll remained the same last week, the bottom half of the poll introduced three teams that were unranked a week ago.

Etowah and Archer made their first apperances in the poll this week, while North Cobb entered the top 10 after a brief stint in the poll earlier this season.

Hillgrove, Collins Hill and Valdosta fell out of the poll following losses last week.

North Gwinnett remained in the top spot of the poll with a unanimous 17 first-place votes. The Bulldogs are currently 6-0, edging out Mill Creek at home last Friday 50-47. The Bulldogs do not face a ranked team again until Nov. 8 at home against Peachtree Ridge.

McEachern and Colquitt County held on to the No. 2 and No. 3 rankings, respectively. McEachern remained undefeated with a 40-0 shutout victory over South Cobb last Friday, while Colquitt County had a bye last week.
Lovejoy and Camden County also held on to the No. 4 and No. 5 spots, respectively.

Lovejoy continued its perfect march through region play with a 46-6 home victory over Morrow, while Camden County claimed a 27-14 win over Tift County.

The bottom of the rankings saw a shake up as Norcross moved into the No. 6 position, up one spot from a week ago.

The Blue Devils won their fourth consecutive game of the season last Friday over former poll member Collins Hill, 28-0.

Etowah entered the poll this week for the first time, ranked No. 7 with an unblemished 6-0 record. The Eagles were off last week, but will take on Cherokee on the road this Friday.

North Cobb, after a short stay in the rankings earlier this season, moved back into the poll at No. 8. The Warriors are 5-1 overall, winning their last four games after starting the season 1-1. The Warriors defeated former poll member Hillgrove 27-17 on the road last week to earn their top-10 position.

Peachtree Ridge fell one spot in the poll from No. 8 a week ago to No. 9 in the latest poll. The Lions defeated Mountain View 38-13 last Friday to move to 6-1 on the year.

Archer rounded out the poll at No. 10 with a perfect 7-0 record.
