As I sit at my desk, waiting for Thanksgiving to arrive, I'm just thinking about how the holiday cannot get here quickly enough.
Easter may be the favorite holiday to some, Christmas to others, but Thanksgiving has always been mine.

Football on Thanksgiving meant almost a full week of festivities – watching football on the television with my Dad on Turkey Day, playing football with my brothers and neighborhood friends on Black Friday and finally, every other season, watching UNC and Duke play their annual rivalry contest in Kenan Memorial Stadium in near-freezing conditions.
I cannot wait to get back home and continue these traditions with my family this week.
Sports have a way of bringing people together, and it’s never more self-evident than on Thanksgiving.
