The following is an update on former Newton County high school soccer players and their on-the-field performances during the 2013 season: Lynea Fouser, Newton- Fouser and the Point University Skyhawks are currently 2-5-1 this season, falling Sept. 17 1-0 to Southern Wesleyan University. Fouser currently leads the Skyhawks in scoring with three goals and two assists this season. The former Covington News Female Player of the Year led Point to a victory over Brewton Parker on Aug. 21, scoring a pair of goals and adding an assist after the Skyhawks fell behind 3-0.
