Eastside's soccer season may have ended but the Lady Eagles were prevalent during the Georgia High School Soccer All-Star game Sunday.

The match may have ended in a tie but Eastside put its mark on it, in helping to lead the blue team.

Trailing 1-0 when center midfielder Amber Lafond sent a long ball to Lady Eagles' teammate Tara Harrison streaking down the left side.

The ball glanced off Harrison's heal but she recovered to send a cross into the box.

The cross was deflected by the white team across the end line resulting in a corner kick.

Lafond took the corner which resulted in a volley by a blue team member for the equalizer with just less than six minutes left in the first half.

The blue team took a 2-1 lead halfway through the second half before the white team tied it up less than two minutes later.

Eastside coach Joel Singleton served as one of the three coaches for the blue team. The Lady Eagles reached the second round of the Class AAA playoffs at 12-7-1.
