Eagles softball: It wasn't even close
Lady Eagles run-rule Griffin
EastsideScores

In one of the quickest games I've seen in a while, Eastside High School managed to run-rule Griffin, 8-0 in five innings.

The Lady Eagles started off slow. For the first two innings they were putting the ball in play, but in position for Griffin to get easy stops.

In the third inning, Eastside got on the board after putting down a few bunts, however it was a past ball that led to the first run.

At the bottom of the fourth with two outs to go, Eastside came alive. The Lady Eagles scored five runs in the inning, most of which came off an inside the park homerun from Caitlin Ray.

Molly Moon shut Griffin down in the top of the fifth to seal the deal and get the win.

The Lady Eagles will face travel down the road to face Alcovy tomorrow at 5:55 p.m.
