Traveling from as far away as Tallahassee, Fla., former Eastside soccer players reunited for an 80-minute game at their old stomping grounds in Covington Saturday.

Joined by the coach who started it all, Mary Roach, along with current boys’ coach Champ Young and current girls’ coach Joel Singleton, the players renewed old friendships and met some new players.

The players ranged from as far back as 2002 graduates to the present in the 2nd Annual Eastside High School Alumni Soccer game.
