Both Eastside baseball and Locust Grove are undefeated in region play and the two will clash today at 5:55 p.m. at Eastside.

The Eagles are currently on a 10-game winning streak and 6-0 in region 4-AAAA. Conversely, the Wildcats are on a 11-game winning streak with a 6-0 mark in region play. Locust Grove is ranked third and Eastside is ranked 10th in the AJC’s Class AAAA baseball rankings.

Eastside has an impressive offense. The Eagles average almost 10 runs per game during their winning streak and have allowed opponents more than three runs only twice in the last 10 games.

Locust Grove likes to the light up the scoreboard just as much as the Eagles, as the Wildcats have scored at least 15 runs in their last four games.
