Rockdale County students and young adults are invited to a Youth Town Hall Oct. 29, 6 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. at Rockdale Career Academy for a chance to meet their elected representatives and ask questions.

State Representative Dee Dawkins-Haigler (D-Lithonia) is hosting the Youth Town Hall in partnership with the East Suburban Atlanta Chapter of Jack and Jill of America, Inc. and Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Stone Mountain-Lithonia Alumnae Chapter.

This event will give young people in Rockdale County an opportunity to meet their elected officials, voice their opinions, and engage in the political process. Rockdale County youth in grades 5 through 12 are strongly encouraged to attend.

Rockdale elected officials attending include: Rep. Dee Dawkins-Haigler, Rep. Tonya Anderson (D-Lithonia), Rep. Pam Stephenson (D-Decatur), Sen. Ron Ramsey (D-Decatur) and Conyers Mayor Randy Mills.
