Back from D.C.: Two students from General Ray Davis Middle School, Moleshia Little, daughter of Moses and Arleshia, and Richard (“Chad”) Beck, III, son of Michelle and Richard II, were among 305 students chosen to take a special trip to Washington D.C. over the Spring Break as part of the Jr. National Young Leaders Conference, “Voices of Leadership: Reflecting on the Past to Create the Future.” During the six-day program, scholars took part in educational activities and presentations and visited sites such as the Harpers Ferry Historical Park, West Virginia and Washington DC’s monuments and memorials. As seventh graders, they were able to incorporate every day civic lessons with practical applications learned during the conference.
