A Rockdale County jury has found Hakim Muhammad guilty of murdering his wife, Shelia Muhammad, in a south Rockdale County home last November.

Assistant District Attorney Deborah Sullivan said her office plans to ask for a sentence of life without parole, but Superior Court Judge Sidney Nation granted a defense motion to delay the sentencing phase for 90 days.

Muhammad was found guilty of one count of malice murder, one count of felony murder, one county malice murder, aggravated assault and tampering with evidence.
