The Blimpie sandwich shop in Covington on Elm Street had to close Sunday, and will remain closed until the damage caused by a truck is repaired.
A truck crashed into the sandwich shop shortly before 1 p.m. Sunday, causing structural damage to the restaurant according to Covington Fire Marshal Tony Smith.
"Because this is a load-bearing wall, he's going to have to get somebody in here to put stiff legs under it, at a minimum," Smith said.
The truck was parked behind the restaurant when the driver went in to order a sandwich, and it rolled down into Blimpie unattended.
