Olde Town transforms once again into New Orleans as The CW's "The Originals" begins filming in Olde Town Conyers Friday night.

Filming for episode 206 of the 'Vampire Diaries' spinoff show will take place within the municipal parking lot behind Firefly and Conyers Jewelry, 868 North Main Street, in the historic district. Filming begins at 8:30 p.m. and will last until 2 a.m. Saturday morning.

No sidewalks, streets or roads will closed at any time during the day because of filming.

Preparation for the filming shoots will be during business hours. Lighting equipment and electrical cables will be deployed in the area of filming. Setup for the scenes should begin at about 8 a.m. Friday morning.

Striking, or set deconstruction, will occur after shooting the same day.

During preparation, filming, and strike, sections of the municipal parking lot will be used for work truck parking.
