Good food with good people: The New Life Family Christian Center, with the Barksdale Boys and Girls Club, gathered on Thanksgiving day to hold a free Thanksgiving Day dinner for residents and families that have fallen on tough economic times or just needed a good meal with good company. Attendees were served and entertained with uplifting music. The meal was also sponsored by Popeye's Chicken and Ribs.
