The poll location for the Stanton Precinct will be temporarily changed only in the July 22 General Primary Runoff to Ebenezer United Methodist Church, due to construction.

On July 22, voters who live in the Stanton Precinct will need to go to Ebenezer United Methodist Church, instead of Edwards Middle School. Ebenezer United Methodist Church is located at 2533 Stanton Road, Conyers, next door to Edwards Middle School.

Renovations at Edwards Middle School that may not be complete by Election Day, according to a released statement, prompting the emergency location change.

Approximately 2900 voters will be receiving precinct notification cards in the mail starting this week, advising them of the temporary change in location for the Stanton Precinct.

On Election Day, signs will be posted in the vicinity and at Edwards Middle School (previous location) directing voters where to go.

Anyone wishing to vote in the upcoming General Primary Runoff Election on July 22, 2014, must have been registered by Monday, April 21, 2014. Sample Ballots for the July 22 Runoff Election can be found on the Board of Elections website at www.rockdalecounty.org.
