IN BRIEF: Rockdale County Public Schools surprised three teachers in their classrooms this morning when they announced the top 3 finalists for the Rockdale County Public School Teacher of the Year. Those teachers were Heritage High School social studies teacher Marion Hanahan, Rockdale County High School Learning Support teacher Don Swaney and J.H. House Elementary School fourth grade teacher Dianne Hall.
