IN BRIEF:  The drop in property values and tax digests was less severe than expected for 2011 by several percentage points, according to estimated recently reported by Tax Commissioner Dan Ray. After a delay due to software adjustments and changes from the state, the county of Rockdale, city of Conyers, and Rockdale County public school system will soon be setting their portions of the property tax.
