The first ever Helping Hands "Taking Care of Yourself" health fair saw nearly 300 visitors who took advantage of free health services, such as diabetes screening, ultra-sound, HIV screenings and breast exams as well as information offered by vendors' booths. Sponsors included Astra Zenica, Aids Gwinnett, Jim ‘N Nick's, Rockdale Medical Center, Kaiser Permanente, Sam's Club in Lithonia, Wal Mart, Walgreens and Kroger.
