Sprague to head Family Promise nonprofit
Director of Conyers Rockdale Council for the Arts, to head homeless family hosting nonprofi

Family Promise of NewRock announced that Jackie Sprague has been named as the new Executive Director. Sprague has been serving as the Executive Director of the Conyers-Rockdale Council for the Arts since 2008. In addition, Sprague has been involved in various organizations including Kiwanis, Rotary and Leadership Rockdale.

FPNR Board Chair Michael Hutcheson said, "Jackie is a very warm-hearted, caring person with lots of experience in nonprofit leadership. We are very grateful to have her as our new director."

"We wish Jackie well in her new position with one of the most dynamic organizations in our community," said Caroline Bradberry, CRCA's Board Chair. During the transition following Sprague's departure, the Arts Council will continue to focus on the varied programming which has resulted in one of the most successful years in the history of the organization.

Erin White, the first Executive Director to serve in this position, are moving out of state due to a career opportunity for her husband. The Family Promise board expressed their appreciation for White. "She was very instrumental in launching Family Promise of NewRock and has done much to create a strong and vibrant nonprofit organization serving homeless children and families," said a released statement.

Family Promise of NewRock is a network of congregations, volunteers, and organizations in Rockdale and Newton Counties working together to provide caring and life changing solutions for children and families facing homelessness.
