Rockdale County Board of Education asked the opinion of parents and employees on the days to make up for the three days lost from last week's snow storm.
The district was closed Jan. 29-31 after an early dismissal Jan. 28 because of snow and ice that made travel unsafe.
RCPS spokesperson Cindy Ball said the district sent out a phone survey to students' households Monday night. Households had the option of completing the survey over the phone or online. The online survey closed 5 p.m. Tuesday, according to Ball.
The survey noted that intercessions on the school calendar have been designated as make-up days.
The survey offered three options for the make-up days - all of the options are during the Feb. 17 through Feb. 21 week-long intercession with various start days. The first option is that Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. The second option is Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. And the third option is Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.
